EXPLORE BANDUNG: Asia Afrika

WELCOME TO BANDUNG!
This time I will take you to Asia Afrika. Let's enjoy a hystorical walk!

For your information, there is some hystorical building at this street such as Gedung Merdeka. And for last KAA event, our mayor, Ridwan Kamil, has remodel this street soooo beautifully.

Asia Afrika Monument

Gedung Merdeka
Nah, peeps, that was some pics of new Asia Afrika. Some of the buildings are still under construction. But that didn't stop tourists and other people to take a photo there ((and share it on instagram and such of course!)).
Trust me people, if you haven't go to the new Asia Afrika street, you. are. not. living.
((believe it or not, I said that to my friend once))

AND HERE COMES THE BEST PART!

Along the way, there are name-carved-stone-balls of a country that is a member of KAA.
Those balls ((or stones)) are so beautiful and creative! ((I salute you, RK))

I found South Korea's ball ((or stone)) once and took a picture with it ((you know, like sitting on it and pose and then share it and yadayadayada.)) ((and I want to follow the trend that time hohoho))

And peeps, believe me when I can't just write about Asia Afrika street here.
YOU. HAVE. TO. SEE. IT. YOURSELF.
end of discussion.

That's all.
See you at Asia Afrika street?

Dream It, Do The Best, Be Grateful

"Name?"
"Muhammad Ghassan Sukma Harsandi. But just call me Ghassan"

That guy up there, is Ghassan. But I usually call him Kaka Gagas ((ofc bcos he's older than me and such. And hey! He's my bro!)).
A student of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB).
When he was just a little boy, he wanted to be an engineer. But, he didnt know what kind of engineer he wanted to be. But now he wanted to have a company that could give livelihood for many people.

But waaay before it, he wanted to be a pilot. And guess why he didn't become a pilot?
"I want to be a pilot. But I'm scared of falling hehe" ((dude seriously.. I laughed at this Ka, forgive me...))

Okay so, Kaka Gagas is a former student of Andir Elementary School, 2 JHS, and 8 SHS.
When he was a student of Andir Elementary School, he got a lot of olympiad experiences, academic and non-academic. He was active in scout and he told me, "So I would be okay if somehow I get lost in a jungle haha"

2 JHS. He began join an organization such as OSIS. And he continued to made new friends.

8 SHS was where he tried new things. He joined an English Club, saw Model of United Nation, joined PASKIBRA where he should finish his foods within 10 counts, and lastly tried baseball from zero until he finally made his homerun.

And finally real world came at him when he got accepted as a student at ITB. He tried many things all over again. Started from Hockey, and then he tried to play Gendang, and much more.

After all that experiences, he learned something. He realized that he should always learn and always be open minded. But we also have to have a principle in order not to be dragged into negative things.

Like every person in this world, he also have a motto. His motto is "DREAM IT, DO THE BEST, BE GRATEFUL".
So, we have to have a big dream first, after that we have to make a maximum effort pursuing that dream. Now the results are submitted to God. Whatever the outcome is, we have to be grateful.

"Lastly, do you have a message to us? The younger ones?"
"For you little bro/sist, just follow what you love. Because whatever it is, if you love it, the result will be good. You can ask for an advice from other people, think about it, and choose the best one for you. Just follow your heart."

Dewa Athena VII

FORTES FORTUNA IUVAT
Well, google translate said that it means "Fortune Favors the Brave" ((its Latin by the way)).

So, yeah!
This is Dewa Athena VII!! Weheey applause applause.

You may be asking yourself. Why is it "Dewa"? Since Athena is the name of one of the goddess in Greek Mythology. Well, I asked the same thing. I think I've asked about this to someone, but I forget why its "Dewa" not "Dewi" ._. Yeah, maybe its an acronym or something.

This event started on February 21st ((a day after my birthday yeaay)) with a colour run. But unfortunately, my class couldnt join this colour run event since our mid test wasnt over that time /cries in the corner.

Dewa Athena VII was a sport competition. There was soccer, table tennis, basketball, badminton, dodgeball, estafet, and tarik tambang competition. And guess what? Our class won some of it yeaay.

Our first cup was from table tennis!
Because of Rian's hard work, we won it!
